How will the scientific method evolve in the 21st century? What new methods for scientifc publishing in the engineering sciences will be established in the coming years? As a new journal which addresses these issues ing.grid was announced at the annual conference of the consortium NFDI4Ing, hosted by TU Braunschweig on 27th and 28th September 2021. As an open access journal with an open reviews process seeking transparent submission, ing.grid will be a platform for scientific discussion on data management in engineering sciences and give scientific credit to all those engaged in FAIR data management activities.
