ing.grid was presented at the E-Science-Tage 2025 in Heidelberg, held under the motto "Research Data Management: Challenges in a Changing World."

Our poster, titled "ing.grid: Bridging the Troubled Waters of Peer Review – Towards Openness, Fairness and F.A.I.R.ness", highlighted how the journal is rethinking peer review through a post-publication open peer review process. 

There was strong interest from attendees in how ing.grid is putting FAIR principles into practice—not only to promote the reusability of research materials, but also to give proper credit to peer reviewers. The event also opened the door for insightful exchanges with participants from outside the engineering sciences who were curious about the journal’s model and its potential for broader application.
